Usually you can get a free meter when you buy strips but this promo gives you 10 strips for free along with the machine.
The request form is self explanatory. I did portrayed myself as a good potential customer (eg. doctor recommends me to start checking, check 2 or 3 times a day, treatment by diet). The form has a bug where it may say you have already requested in the past and gives you a coupon instead for only the machine. I had to change my email to get past the bug.
I know nothing about this company, their products or prices, so if you are thinking of switching please do your own homework.

Strips are $83.99 at shopper drugmart, which you need to buy to get the machine. So unless someone can find a cheaper source of strips and get the machine this is not a hot deal.

Does insurance cover glucose strips? (Under the assumption that some RFDers may have it through work).

Looks like we need to show the coupon from email to a pharmacist PLUS with purchase of the strips?

The only way to get cheap strips is through your work or otherwise paid for private insurance coverage, and you'll need your doctor to write you a prescription for it. That's it. In Ontario, seniors ODB coverage will also cover strips down to the 4.11 copay (after you meet your $100 annual deductible obviously) but you only get 200 strips per year unless you are using insulin.
And 83.99 is crazy high lol. My local Walmart sells them for $10 less.

This has never been necessary. As long as you purchase 100 strips, you get the meter for free upon request at any pharmacy you go to.
And I was able to request the meter and the sample to be mailed to me.

Does this give you both 10 strips and the machine for free? And then you need to buy the strips later?

Considering the bug always says that you've already applied for this earlier, it's a cold deal.

Calling the company a bug is quite an attack.

If you’re taking a GLP drug like Ozempic chances are you can get a free machine through this program.
Even if you don’t have a use for the machine it can be pretty handy. I had someone staying over by me with diabetes have their machine stop working, on a similar promo in the past I had the machine, strips and lancets and was able to have them test using my free machine from a similar promo. Weird thing to have just in case but it came in clutch.
